Aloha, one of my good friends from summer camp was emigrating the country with her husband (yes – I have friends who are more matured than me), hence we planned a mini farewell dinner before my life becomes hectic with postgrad studies.

Let me tell you all when my friends told me this is where we were going to have dinner, I was a bit sceptic about it. I mean it's a Japanese themed restaurant so the food is Oriental and I haven't had many great experiences with oriental food so things like soba and ramen were not my cup of tea.
I was so scared of choosing something on the menu like literally so afraid and it turning so bad – that would be a terrible experience. But at the end of the evening, I had to make a choice of eating something, I cannot be seated at a restaurant with nothing but water on my segment of the table. Hence I chose to have this amazing Yaki Soba stir fry noodle (soba is a Japanese noodle dish) and chicken kara-age at Izakaya Arata (next to Asada) on Stanley street.

This is a new restaurant on the PE restaurant scene and it did not fail to impress me. More so, because it is affordable.
After the meal I was both satisfied and relieved, relieved because the meals tasted way better than what I had anticipated now I have full confidence that I'll try and explore their menu with no fear of any bad experience.
I'd really recommend you try this place out!
